Known in Chinese as 崖柏, this rare wood comes from Cupressus gigantea, a cypress species native to the high-altitude cliffs of Tibet and certain regions in China. Revered for its fragrant aroma, delicate grain, and its spiritual use in incense and meditation, 崖柏 has been used in Chinese carving and wellness culture for centuries.
We use naturally aged崖柏 wood, responsibly sourced, hand-polished into beads that retain their warm tone and calming scent.

The two floral tassels are suspended from sandalwood seed beads (檀香籽) — round, natural pod-like beads from the Indian sandalwood tree.
